about me

experience

I began my career working in the NHS over 15 years ago, providing face to face and group based psychological interventions. During this time I worked in different services, including the Primary Care Assessment and Treatment Team (PCATT) and Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), in Suffolk, Gloucestershire and North Bristol. I then worked in acute psychiatry at The Priory Hospital in Bristol, providing psychological therapies and managing the therapy service department. In 2015 I began my current role as a Senior Lecturer at the University in Worcester and I also joined the Open University of 2020. I also work as a Specialist Advisor for the Care Quality Commission (CQC) where I provide specialist advice and input into the regulatory inspection processes.
